I designed this desktop planter to address a problem I had with other small planters on the market - they did not have a well thought-out drainage plan. I set out to design a planter where the drainage tray was thoughtfully integrated into the shape of the planter.

I originally produced the planters using a silicone mold and cement, but later chose to slip cast the planters using porcelain slip. I provided form design, 3D printed prototypes, mold design, and functional prototypes using the plaster molds.
